Can you do any of the following items to improve your health and reduce your risk of lung cancer?

Avoid smoking

Make it your goal to not smoke, for your health and the health of your loved ones. If you want help to stop smoking, talk to doctor for ways to help you quit. Also communicate with your family and friends for support.

Avoid secondhand smoke, as much as possible

You can ask family members or workmates to smoke outside. Make it your goal to not spend a lot of time in places where people smoke.

Eat well

Make sure to get enough fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. By eating more fruits and vegetables, you can get natural vitamins and nutrients.

Exercise

Make it your goal to exercise every day of the week. If you miss a day, do not worry, start again on the next day.

Avoid toxic chemicals

If your work has toxic chemicals, make sure to protect yourself from exposure by using the recommended protection. You can also talk to your doctor about more ways of protecting yourself from workplace chemicals.

Test your home

Test your drinking water

Even if you reduce your risk, you can have symptoms or be exposed to risk factors.
